How AI music videos are made

A music video is a sequence of short scenes timed to the music. AIVidGen generates those scenes from your descriptions, between 5 and 10 seconds each. You then place them on the timeline of your editor, cut on the beat and add your track. This gives independent artists and lyric channels a full visual production without a film crew.

Plan the visuals

  1. Write down the mood of each section: intro, verse, chorus, bridge.
  2. Choose one style for the whole video, or one per section for contrast.
  3. Turn each lyric line into a scene: who, where, the light and one camera move.
  4. Generate the clips in 16:9 for YouTube or 9:16 for Shorts and Reels.
  5. Cut them to the beat in your editor and add the song.

Styles that suit music

  • Cinematic and Vintage film for ballads and acoustic songs.
  • Cyberpunk for electronic and hip-hop.
  • Anime and Ghibli for lo-fi and emotional tracks.
  • Watercolour and Oil painting for dreamy, artistic visualisers.
  • Pixel art for chiptune and retro sounds.

Visualisers and lyric videos

For a visualiser, generate a few calm loops in the same style and alternate them through the song. For a lyric video, keep the background simple and slow so the words stay readable. Silent clips work best when the song provides the audio.

Planning scenes against the song

Listen to the track once and mark where the energy changes: the intro, each verse, the chorus and the bridge. Give each part its own idea. Calm verses suit slow camera moves and wide shots; a chorus suits faster moves, closer shots and stronger colour. Write one prompt for every four to eight seconds of music, and keep the same style words throughout so the video feels like one piece.

Generate clips with the sound turned off when your song is the soundtrack, so nothing competes with the music. Then cut the clips on the beat in your editor.

Looks that suit music videos

  • Cyberpunk and neon nights for electronic and hip-hop tracks.
  • Watercolour and Ghibli for soft, emotional songs.
  • Vintage film for nostalgic or acoustic music.
  • Anime for high-energy tracks and lyric edits.
